Not so much bad Bad Boys, more good Bad Boys. And not so-bad-it’s-good Bad Boys either. Instead, this is comfortably the best entry in the series to date. Which isn’t bad.
While it focuses more on character moments than absolute Bayhem, Bad Boys for Life does feel a bit long and there is a late out-of-nowhere plot twist that feels a little far-fetched even for these movies. Thankfully, neither detracts from the delightful spectacle that comes with Smith and Lawrence fist-bumping and insult-slinging just like it was 1995 again.

Bad Boys For Life: Will Smith got Martin Lawrence out of retirement for this movie and was it good. I have to say like Sonic the Hedgehog movie this had no reason to be as good as it was is, I know the others are good movies but this was a close masterpiece, I am seriously amazed about that movie. First the action scenes were choreographed beautifully, it wasn’t the a huge explosions CGI orgy even though there was explosions. It was not shake cam either which is another plus, the movement is something to behold, one scene has the camera on its side and has someone shooting the people on top of them. The cinematography just lord. It was shot so beautifully, Miami has never looked so good it has so many colors instead of yellow. But the meat of the movie is Will and Martin they once again work so great with each other. It is so good to see Will Smith playing a more adult role since he was just in Aladdin and once again he killed it but Martin he was in retirement and he has never been better all the jokes land and stick with you once those credits roll. It was also great to see one note characters like Reggie from the second film coming back to this movie. Over all the movie was amazing it is a drama in the beginning but once Mike starts looking for someone it turns back into what the franchise is a buddy comedy movie. If you haven’t seen it in the theater go watch it before it leaves.

For the first time ever, I cared about Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. And for the first time, yes, I hope some more Bad Boys come for me. Whatcha gonna do? Well, I’d watch them! Happily, for once.
It is impossible to watch the picture without meditating on the way video games have changed action cinema. Similar thoughts kicked up during the very different 1917, but the loop is more dizzying here.
The film admirably attempts a level of emotional resonance Bay has proven largely incapable of. Even if it can’t quite wrangle those beats into one cohesive mood, it gives its leads the most they’ve had to work across this trilogy.
Bantering back and forth, Lawrence and Smith manage to recreate some of their screen chemistry — though not enough to make anyone want to go on another bumpy ride.
The film may leave you wondering what purpose this franchise serves if not to give expression to Michael Bay's nationalist, racist, and misogynistic instincts.
Not as good as the others. Martin Lawrence's character just didn't seem like he gave a 100% of his role in this movie. Kind of thrown off the chemistry they once had. It was still an ok movie.

Bad Boys For Life is bad. Really bad. You might enjoy it if you can completely switch your brain off. I mean completely. But there are so many aggressively dumb things in this movie that I just couldn’t handle it. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have great chemistry, but it’s somewhat undercut by the stupidity of some of the dialogue. The action is also enjoyable enough, but even that can gets stale sometimes. Honestly the film gets boring at multiple points and some narrative beats just don’t make any sense.
