PatH.Aug 21, 200310I liked this movie. Finally something other than these stupid BS movies that we pump out here a dozen at a time. I wish I didn't speak English so that I couldn't understand what Keanu Reeves was saying.

MichaelK.Aug 14, 200310I don't know what film Michael F. was watching but it seems to me he missed the boat on this one. Oxide Pang Chun & Danny Pang broke new barriers with this film and its style.

MichaelF.Mar 29, 20022The ONLY thing that this film has going for it is some of the cinematography. Everything else was a piece of ... Story, screenplay. Okay acting but it is just a piece of ... movie with horrible action sequences. I'm surprised that I actually sat through this movie without turning it off. Towards the end I was laughing my ass off!

ChrisMar 3, 200310Enriching film that stars a deaf hitman. open your mind to anything different from the commercial movie industry crap that they force down your throat.

bryanxJul 29, 20053Fine if you've never seen anything like this before. but i have seen anything like this before, much, much better. feels like there's nothing here but style. felt like a serious wong kar-wai/chris doyle knockoff without any of the emotion or smarts.

NathanR.Dec 1, 200310There are some movies out there now that are full of terrible acting and high priced special effects. then there are those select few that actually leave you in a daze at the end. Bangkok Dangerous is an excellent film with a very powerful and moving sequences. The subtitles just add to the high standard of this film. I rate this among one of my favorite movies.

40The movie is a technical marvel from its lysergic cinematography (by Decha Srimantra) to its pulsing-vessel sound design, but it has no identity apart from its influences, however dazzlingly they're deployed.
-
50A style-rich, substance-weak B-level gangster movie which is noteworthy for two unusual reasons: it is one of the very few films from Thailand to gain international release and it is the perhaps the only film of its genre to feature a love story between a hit man and a pharmacist.

30The editing looks like it was done in a blender, and the images of death and grief are so genre-primal that the Pangs hardly bother with dialogue.
