-
RyanM.May 26, 200110A brilliant study of drugs, realationships and people. With dazzling performances by Depp, Liotta and Potente this film shines like tin foil!

Nov 14, 201110One of those movies where you will laugh your ass off at parts, but want to cry at others. Overall very good. Depp, as usual when playing a drugged out crazy guy, delivers an excellent performance.
-
NelloD.Jun 20, 20029A true story which accurately portrays the life and mind of a drug dealer. From the highs to the very lows of George Jungs life. A must see.

GaryR.Sep 14, 20018Johnny Depp excels in this movie...Penelope Cruz does an incredible job acting like a real witch.

FrankB.Sep 30, 20018This movie deserves higher than a 48. The acting was excellent and the story was very interesting.

ColeLNov 17, 20018Bravo Johnny, bravo. This was a great movie with love for the game. I am asstounded by the realness of the trade and of how well this movie was done.

RyanT.Jul 25, 20028Even though this type of movie has been done before and Scarface is definitely superior to it. It is entertaining throughout and has some great acting by Johnny Depp and Ray Liotta.

Mar 8, 20138It's got this weird kind of piecemeal/miniseries structure to it but, as a genuine study of human drama and fallibility, "Blow" comfortably eases by thanks to a damn fine performance from Johnny Depp.

DamianP.Jun 17, 20017George Jung was the good guy? Please!! Still, it was entertaining.

-
JoshB.Jul 2, 20017The filmmakers did a remarkable thing. Make you feel sorry for the guy responsible for propelling America's drug-problem. Seriously.

MarcK.Mar 3, 20027I saw a lot of year's Best 10 Lists by critics, and I don't think "Blow" made any of them! What a shame, as this was a very good movie. Paul Reubens steals every scene he's in, and should have received an Oscar nomination for his work. Seriously!

BlakeJ.Mar 11, 20077Good, but not as good as the teenage crowd makes it out to be. Johnny does a fine job. Penelope Cruz is so evil I wanted to reach into the screen and choke her, that's acting.

YoonC.Sep 14, 20036Generally serviceable movie about the rise and fall of a drugdealer in the 80s. While the movie resists the temptations for sensationalism inherent in the subject matter, Depp proves rather limp as the central hero. Informative but ultimately predictable.

DarylD.Apr 5, 20105A crappy version of Goodfellas. I mean they copied almost everything. If you want to watch a movie about drugs just watch 'Boogie Nights' or something. Sure a great performance from Johnny Depp and great directing from Ted Demme but even with that, it doesn't cut it. It felt like I already watched this movie and got nothing out of it.
-
-
Aug 27, 20102A half-baked attempt at a variety of ideas that were better used in greater films (namely Goodfellas). Depp and Liotta give entertaining performances as usual, but the fun burns out quickly.
-
50The real problem is that there's nothing to George but the movie's props.
-
50Only Depp and Ray Liotta (as Jung's father) manage to animate this tired formula.
-
50When George’s fortunes start to go from bad to worse, so does the movie.
