  1. This is a demanding, intelligent film of considerable complexity and of sufficient seriousness to justify its 128-minute running time.

Writer-director Craig Ross Jr. offers both rigorously effective dramatic sections and terribly pedantic and melodramatic strokes of overkill.

The film is naive in its glorification of violence and vengeance.

The story has little resonance or depth. The R-rated movie comes off as exploitative and derivative.

This is the best film i have ever seen! the scarface movie has nothing on this film! im just so mad at the fact that this movie is not getting enough credit for what it is really worth! it just was not hyped up...but then again the oscar nominated movie "Crash" was not given enough credit until afterwards....This is my favorite movie! nothing comes before it!!! Yeah, that had to be Don Cheadle portraying "Twinkie" who assassinates his own son. Cheadle probably doesn't want anyone knowing he was in this flick. The film has some talented actors and was well shot, but the violence and the overall plot suck -bigtime. We can -and some of us will - do waay better.
