    This movie is very nice, besides being funny, it shows how some people are cinicals regarding being friends with gays. If a person gives 0 (as Sughmei B.) at least should be capable to explain more than "ah, oh, I'm and a lot of ..."

    I loved this movie! Not only is it funny, but very enternating. Lets face it, would you like to go to a boat trip like this, or to one that has no action, fun, and laughs, I belive this movie is great!

    Not for you if your intelligence is easily insulted. Goes one step further and disrespects your gullibility as well. Picture Cuba Gooding in a balloon with his girlfriend. He's airsick, and upchucking is imminent. There are only two targets available: the girl, and Pennsylvania. Apparently, winning an Oscar does not always bring the best parts. Or Cuba should quit making bar bets. Anyway, horny, brokenhearted and dumb as a brick, he inadvertently finds himself at sea on a cruise ship populated by gay men. Oh, if only the world was as naive as the characters in this film, we would have no one to fear. Somehow his girl gets aboard. Should a woman this hard up be allowed to get angry? It's a cackle when she calls him a c*sucker and every head turns, but in the end the film deftly avoids offending anyone by its fun-loving and meaningless contempt for everybody, including those who would judge it to be worthless. … Expand

    I loved this movie! I rented it but I am gonna go buy it. I could watch it over and over. I thought Cuba was as adorable as ever.

    "A sexy, uninhibited romantic comedy about following your heart?no matter where it leads you." Here's "Boat Trip" instead. Again I scratch my head - "Gosford Park" gets 5.5, "Boat Trip" 7.4. I hate to be a snob, but come on, people! There's a whole world of wonders out there in cinema, and here you are gawping at Cuba Gooding Jr (find a good script, for God's sake, you';re a talented boy) blank-eye his way through one of the very stupidest films of the decade, one which seems to have aspirations toward nonchalant homophobia, yet doesn't even have the cojones to be properly offensive. The only thing it has going for it is Roger Moore making the best of a bad situation - but even Sir Rog isn't enough to save a "sinking ship". Ho, and indeed, ho. I hope that's enough explanation for the pleasant-sounding Marcos R. - it's an affront to my dignity and my family. Look, just do something else instead, okay?… Expand

    This film is not only bad, it sends me into a rage. Beneath the thin veneer of comedy is more homophobia and misogyny. Guys listen up, if you have problems because women and gays are starting to make gains in the world, work it out in a therapists office -- not on screen. If I see one more film about stupid heterosexuals trying to pass them selves off as gay just to get laid--I'm going to start taking hostages.… Expand

    I tough it was really bad a waste of Cuba's talents which made me feel really bad for him.It wasn't funny and the gay element in it was just plain dumb it doesnt promote or demote gay's it just want's to try to make a point but sadly can't.

    Boat trip feels so much like a farrely brothers gross out, but you got to keep remembering that even those guys would craft a more well made sex comedy such as "there's something about Mary

    This movie's hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's kinda weird but whatever. It's funny. I have nothing else to say.

    Technically it does not qualify as one of the worst American-made movies ever. It only feels that way. The movie's offenses are too numerous to catalog.

    Had the ghost of Paul Lynde swanned by in a caftan-clad cameo, you couldn't find a more outdated, miscalculated collection of stale, queen-size stereotypes than those trotted out on this ship of fools.
