An Aussie Billy Eliot with a great dance sequence at the end. Makes you want to learn tap.

I loved it and I want a sequel made, maybe the kids getting rich, buying dad a huge house with, of course, tons of dance-shows in between....the hell with the plot, let these kids dance!

Here's a dance move for people that don't really like dance movies. Entertaining and different.

"Footloose" meets "The Full Monty" in Bootmen, a cliché-ridden tap dance drama.
  2. 25
There's 80 minutes of mawkish, overacted melodrama - laced with gratuitous violence and profanity - before we get to anything more than the briefest snippet of a dance number.
  3. It delivers commendable entertainment value.
