Watch this with full knowledge that it's not going to thrill, and it will provide pure pleasure in the character of Scot. Fresh, human, flawed, lovable, young actor Noah Bernett delivers a gem of a performance in a challenging role.

A gentle and playful comedy, the acting is solid,in addition to the main about Scot, the love scenes of two men is very romantic and simple .The kiss scene at the end of the movie from two dads is one scene worth the wait.

Suffused with the bargain-basement blandness of an Afterschool Special, Breakfast with Scot is the kind of gay-themed pic that won't ruffle the feathers of a granny in Manitoba, though it's bound to make more discerning auds groan.

Cavanagh, best known for the TV show "Ed," is terrific--as is young Bernett, who steals the show without hogging it.
  3. Deserves sympathetic attention, if only for the family-values specifics loaded into the story, and the way mildmannered stars Ben Shenkman (Angels in America) and Tom Cavanagh (Ed) embrace their instructional roles.
