    I know the critics gave this movie bad reviews, but I really liked it. It was an unusual and enigmatic love story, and though it is said that the characters are "stereotypes", they still gave me a look into a world I am unfamiliar with. Overall, this was a unique, enjoyable movie.

    Sterotypes are usually based n some truth exaggerated to include all. This movie was just another example of that. It was a fresh take on an timeless conflict. Enjoyable for all

    The acting is, at best, serviceable; the sound track is too often unintelligible; the direction is often over the top; and the script relies heavily on stereotypes.

    Only Sol and Sara even approach being real characters; the supporting players, Black and Jewish alike, are shrill stereotypes.
