    Wilding's genuine curiosity about the monks' beliefs and daily routines, as well as her willingness to ask questions that sometimes make her look like a bit of a dip, gives the film a homespun honesty and sincerity that make it a surprisingly pleasant trip.

    This is a great little feel good movie.Well constructed and artistically pleasing to the eye this colourful movie takes us right into the world of the monks. Anna Wilding is naturally engaging on camera and gives a thoughtful commentary that perfectly matches the story.Go see it! Expand

    An enjoyable little movie that shows how friendly and down-to-earth these religious renunciates really are. Just charming.

    This is a great and highly stylistic movie shot in a style to incorporate the sweetness and humblenss of the monks.It is a porfesional and smart movie and is very clever in its portraly of the facts of life of remote Budhist monastries. Expand

    Anna did NOT spend time travelling Sri Lanka and Thailand - the film was made at an expat Thai temple in Christchurch, New Zealand, her home town. It plays like a high school project, and displays a complete ignorance of its subject material. Anna is a con. Expand
