This is a great little feel good movie.Well constructed and artistically pleasing to the eye this colourful movie takes us right into the world of the monks. Anna Wilding is naturally engaging on camera and gives a thoughtful commentary that perfectly matches the story.Go see it!

The director has doen a wonderful job of getting us to se the life of Buddhist monks through a different set of lenses.Ms Wilding has found a stlye that allows the audience to see the textures and patterns of her reality. Furute filmmakers need not take note as the subtle tones throughout allwo for the audince to beomce invovle din nothign else but the story. As tory that is told wiht arefernce that is insightful as it is golden. It ws grea tto see the film in athetrie with aucinede member hwo relaly appreciate it. I am forever grateful for the view. Expand

An enjoyable little movie that shows how friendly and down-to-earth these religious renunciates really are. Just charming.

This is a great and highly stylistic movie shot in a style to incorporate the sweetness and humblenss of the monks. It is a porfesional and smart movie and is very clever in its portraly of the facts of life of remote Budhist monastries.

This is a great, entertaining and professional movie that is clevery shot in the "guerilla"style to capture the true life of Buddhist misisonary Monks.

Anna did NOT spend time travelling Sri Lanka and Thailand - the film was made at an expat Thai temple in Christchurch, New Zealand, her home town. It plays like a high school project, and displays a complete ignorance of its subject material. Anna is a con.

Wilding's genuine curiosity about the monks' beliefs and daily routines, as well as her willingness to ask questions that sometimes make her look like a bit of a dip, gives the film a homespun honesty and sincerity that make it a surprisingly pleasant trip.
