Lost in this barely coherent and clichéd hugger-mugger is the initial killer-website conceit and the attending erotic dread, which is retrospectively revealed to be an illusory siren call.

Ostensibly a lame treatise on how slippery self-image can be in the Internet age, the film ultimately reveals itself as a much lamer treatise on the evil sorcery of female sexuality.

For a would-be skin-and-horror treat, though, Cam2Cam is surprisingly prudish. It doesn’t really traffic in sex; the camera mostly averts its gaze from the murders, preferring blood spatter patterns; and the acting is predictably wooden.

It's all largely incoherent, with the screenplay's twists and surprise revelations having an utterly artificial feel.

    [A] rather sleazy time-killer.

It started with some basic premises but it got a bit different and more interesting I guess you could say. Probably a bit 'risqué' for the average audience (brief naked crotch shot of a trani) but it has all the right elements of a decent thriller. It looks like it was made by a younger crew which is fine by me as long as they make an effort which they seemed to. The main female character is played by a gal who is also a singer in life but who is generally not know to North American audiences called Tammin Sursok.I thought she was good in the film which also deals with the concept of online predators in a foreign country-that's something you don't think about every day. Surprise ending & shots of Bangkok Thailand here and there help it along. Worth a look f you are a bit more open minded than average-not really a story about 'tranidom'-more a story with a range of different characters. And its in colour. Expand
