Carriers has moments of genuinely communicable horror.

    A moody, engaging end-of-the-world horror-drama, if a bit too apocalypse-lite.

Definitely worth watching. There are few 'scary' parts and the film's real worth is in the emotional heart tugging that occurs when 'carriers' are left behind to die. Great performances by Chris Pine and Piper Perabo. Expand

Emotionally moving yet depressing. great acting. Effective filming and penetrating mood. poor, predictable climax. basic zombie movie w/out zombies.

Terrifyingly sad. However, realistic in its portrayal of such an apocalyptic pandemic. Acting was believable and not to strained. However, more information on the specifics of the virus, the state of the world at the time of the characters' lives would improve the film. Ending left too much to the imagination, another half an hour depicting those who survive would have made this movie horribly amazing. Expand
