'Celine: Through the Eyes of the World' counters every generalized stereotype about Dion, her balladry songs, and over-the-top demeanor. The movie gives viewers an inside look of a life, not many have seen or expected. It's down to earth, and surprisingly real. I highly recommend it for both die-hard Dion fans, and people who want to see a different side of the pop diva.

Brilliant....this is not a live show for those who couldn't be there in person. This is an intimate look at a performer, allowing you to share her passion for her fans, her family and her singing.

Some concert movies make you feel like you have the best seat in the house; this one plants you squarely in front of the Jumbotron.

Yet it would be wrong, or at least simplistic, to dismiss Celine as a globe-spanning ego trip. Directed by Stephane Laporte, the movie offers something we seldom see anymore from public figures: grandiosity without either apology or arrogance.

It’s probably accurate in its portrayal of her general good humour. Detractors would be surprised at how genuinely funny she can be.
