The upside is that they're likable and play well together...The downside is that they're all still communicating roughly the same message, which lies somewhere between a wink and a nudge.
  2. A slasher spoof of sorts, except that unlike the "Scream" pics, scant effort seems to have gone into the spoofing aspect of the story.

The name is a tipoff: Club Dread is dreadful.

A bumptious splatter farce that manages to improve from awful to moderately engaging as its cast is winnowed down to the five guys themselves.

Chandrasekhar is a master forger of images and situations from horror movies past, but unlike Wes Craven did in "Scream," he doesn't build on them in any way, and the result is the opposite of what's intended; the movie is stultifying.

A stunningly unfunny farce that makes the worst of a stale concept.
  7. About as funny as malaria.
  8. Studios can release movies even more insultingly dumb, crudely assembled and cheaply produced than this one, though such an achievement will require some effort.

I think the story is dumb... at the end the killed forgot why he was killing (No spoiler here)....May be that's why this movie is comedy as well... The characters are hilarious! So if you're wondering to watch it or not, let me say this if you're expecting some horror movie with deep story then Don't watch it if you're looking for a fun and exciting movie then this is your choice. I give it a 7/10, because it's one of my childhood classics and i believe it's a great movie for a party with friends. Otherwise i would give it a 6/10... Full Review »
