This movie was great. I loved it and I want to go to the bar that is a lot like it called "hogs 'n' heffers."

Get ready folks as we step once more into a formula feel-good chick flick. Somehow though, Coyote Ugly is more painful to watch than any before it. If you're a guy, most likely your girlfriend will ask you to watch this, please, say no. I can't can't describe how tedious I found this, there are so many cringe-worthy moments I can't possibly begin to go into them here. The only thing that looks even remotely interesting is the bar - if you haven't seen it before. otherwise - a shallow, boring, unrealistic and unfunny piece of crap. i can't believe i actually wasted my money for a cinema ticket to go see this.

Ok, so it doesn't say a lot plot wise, but Coyote Ugly makes for an interesting review on femanist issues. Is Lil the bar owner really a slave to this sex selling bar, or is she making something of her life by trading on the desires of men? Is this true of Zoe to a similar degree, leaving the bar to use the money she made to turn herself into a lawyer? Yes, the songs are alright, your attention held by the changes in the life of this small town girl. Don't forget, they're making a point here too, girls you can come out of your small towns, stop serving pizza and serve beer with a swivel of your hips instead. A mixture of values if you think about this film, and it's giving me something to review for college so I'm giving it a 9 cos it's better than watching Casablanca again! … Expand

The film's interesting. The story behind the bar with musicians who manage to make a living one way or another. Half of the movie is probably covered in booze and bras, but that's how most people see it. There are some lessons to be learned, I take that back... a few lessons here. It's worth a rent, just not a buy.

I had the misfortune of believing the movie would improve as it neared the end. I was wrong.

Why did Bruckheimer bother making it, and why did I bother seeing it?

Thought this movie would be another T&A movie when I was dragged to it by my younger brother. However, I was pleasetanly surprised, so much so that I saw it twice in 3 days!! For me, the highlight of this movie was Adam Garcia, who played the main character's Aussie love interest. He played the part with the right amount of cuteness, sexiness and vunerablity.
