A toxic combination of obvious bromides and talentless filmmaking, writer-director Ted Fukuda's schmaltzy, tone-deaf romantic drama sets your teeth on edge from the outset and doesn't let up for 103 minutes.

Dog Lover's Symphony feels as if an alien species had been studying Hollywood movies for 50 years and tried to make one themselves.

The only suitable ending for such a stinker involves a twist-tie and a baggie.

Unrealistic, predictable and sometimes irritating... Who cares? I liked that one. This is a tale. Or maybe I'm just getting tired of tricky scripts. Expand

I'd have liked the movie even if my daughter hadn't been Susan's daughter #2 at the end. Granted the story line was alittle predictable but it portrayed a good sense of values and I was proud my daughter and her friend, daughter #1,were a part of this movie. Expand

This was one of the worst movies I've ever seen, but it was so terrible I started to love it by the end. I am currently seeking my own personal copy, and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good satire. Expand

LJ summed it up beautifully. It was a 0 from the beginning, but my wife and I got into the amateur script, film making and acting by the end, and we spent the last 30 minutes laughing out loud. Fortunately this was a freebie from the rental store we used. Expand

I've seen better films done by grade school film classes. The fact that it is apparently a "MESSAGE" film makes it a joke from the first shots of 'cute' dogs doing tricks. It has every cilche in it that I ever saw, read or heard about and each one was badly done! Anyone who watches this film deserves the suffering it produces. Expand

This is like...."Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and Barney meets Lassie and they live in Star Trek...all in one. It is the worst dialogue and even worse acting of any movie i have EVER rented. Expand
