RajS.Dec 17, 200210The drumming in this film blew me away. I gave this a 10 for keeping me excited for what was coming next. I was smiling ear to ear with anticipation.

RyanM.Jan 2, 20030It's sickening, that even major critics could fall for crap like this. This redefines the term "cliche'd". It's a sad, pathetic, ebonics-spoken movie about drumming? It gets worse, but not much.

NickC.May 5, 20038If the story line wasn't soo cheesy this movie would've been a masterpiece.

RobertOct 25, 20037A somewhat enjoyable movie, though I found it very frustrating to watch at times. I don't quite undertand how this was a comedy, however. I would say it was almost completely drama.

C.D.Feb 8, 20030This is the worst movie I've ever seen. The acting is terrible, the "plot" is terrible, and all of the characters are all despicable. Need I go on?

TiffanyG.May 3, 200310This is an excellent movie! ! It's is inspiring for all young people interested in music, and a memory-refresher for those who participated in marching bands while in high school or college. "Drumline" brought back special high school memories for me!! It is AWESOME!! (And so is Orlando Jones .... he's a major HOTTIE!!!)

MitchH.Sep 7, 20039This is a suprisinly good film. I was expecting just predictable fluff, but I got a whole lot more. This movie has heart and it's drumline and band scenes are spectacular and are full of intensity. A must see movie.

AshleyG.Sep 30, 200510Great movie! Brings me to my feet everytime, but it's not for the traditional, uptight people because they would just think it was another flakey film.

SarahR.Apr 16, 20032It was kind of fun but it has quite a few mistakes that only a band nerd would notice. I laughed at it instead of with it.

Feb 27, 201110Hands down one of the best movies I have seen, seriously. Great storyline and Nick Cannon really gets into this character. Drumming was unreal and story had some nice twists.

70Brimming with heart and humor -- Drumline is a formulaic crowdpleaser set in the competitive world of university marching bands at predominantly black universities.
-
30If you were ever in marching band, you'll love this; if not, stay far away.
-
63If it's conventional, it's also competent. Thanks to director Charles Stone III (of the famed "Whassuup?!" Budweiser spots), the clichés at least have a good beat.
