A powerful film. The parallels between the “Conquista” times and the revolts in contemporary Cochabamba are well-constructed and self-explanatory. Great and effective editing work. The characters possess an energy and truth that is not easy to find in today’s films. The internal conflict that the characters go through, the psychological development of some of them, and the relationships with others, keep up the audience's interest and attention Expand

just an amazing movie with a script beyond political correct cliches. Then acting is more than convincing, beautiful photography and cinematography allthough the key element is the editing that managed to balance ideally the story within the story script

Amazing.... Where the story within the story becomes the narrative. This is real art...that of art being a mirror of Life. Great acting, great story, great scenery. Emotion.

It starts as clever, but it ends in real feeling.

It's all a bit too schematic, yet the ambition is admirable and the message powerful: Today, no less than yesterday, the weak must be strong to survive, and their strength is endlessly tested.

So potent it nearly succeeds even as a vacuum sits squarely at its center.
