Extraction works because its simple, yet sufficient, story allows the film's action to take center stage. If the stunt work were mediocre, the entire thing would be an utter waste of time. Thankfully though, Extraction boasts an exhaustingly awesome showcase of expertly choreographed fists, knives, guns, and explosions.

"Not great action film for sure, but undeniably ambitious directorial debut for stuntman Sam Hargrave." Despite the meh narrative and mid script, many action scenes are insanely good. Unfortunately, there’re few ambitious fight scenes that were ruined by imperfect shaky cam (I mean, still too far away from Paul Greengrass style on Jason Bourne trilogy), but still, I see what Hargrave tried to challenge himself and crews. The result might not look so impressive but the respect for the ambitions Hargrave nailed in this debut film is sustained

Deludente, se cercate un minimo di senso non è il film adatto. Tante le persone che uccide il protagonista che viene da chiedersi se sia un fantasy. Superpoteri che però vengono perso di botto senza alcun senso nel finale, scontato e a dir poco privo di significato. Non aggiungo nulla sull’ultimo frame perché non esistono voti negativi e non vorrei infierire.
