SherifF.Feb 5, 200210I went to the movie 4 times, 3 of 'em I found that am the only 1 in the Cinema, I'm dying to have a copy, no matter how much will it cost. I went in the 1st place to listen to Fathi Salama's music, to find out that am wtching one of the few modern Egyptian movies.

30A coarse and unappealing black comedy.

30Fawzi shoots the proceedings in clumsy, gotch-eyed spurts, and the level of incoherence is impressively high.

38The screenplay by Zekri (based on Jorge Amado novel) is crude stuff, and director Ossama Fawzi gets such cartoonish performances from his cast, it's hard to care about the characters.
