This movie was frightening -- frightening because I can't figure out how it made it to the big screen. Direct to video, anyone? I am a died-in-the-wool New Yorker who saw this film by myself, and I had to physically restrain myself from elbowing my neighbor repeatedly and asking him, "Did you see that? What is this? Have we stepped into Cinemax Friday Night Soft Porn Video Hell?" This movie was frightening -- frightening because I can't figure out how it made it to the big screen. Direct to video, anyone? I still don't get how this got to the big screen. Is it me? Expand

I just read the reviews. It seem that they were written by men in their 40s...However, I am female, I like the way sensuality is portrayed in this film, surprisingly directed buy a man...The film has innovative storytelling, is imaginative and original. Yes, the film is different. But different is great. There are so many sequels and formulaic pictures distributed by the studios today... I just read the reviews. Yes, the film is different. But different is great. There are so many sequels and formulaic pictures distributed by the studios today... It seems that everybody in Hollywood is afraid of imagination. Whatever, the directing reminds me of French films, there is strong acting, especially by Alice Evans and Jacqueline Bisset. And Adam Garcia is HOT! - EVERY GIRL under 25 who saw "Coyote Ugly" will agree with me. - Go and see "Fascination". For me it was the foreplay to an evening of PASSION! Expand

Nearly everything about Fascination feels overdone. At its delirious worst, it's as pungent a Parisian cheese shop, offering a cornucopia of laughable scenes.
  2. It plays like a soft-core-porn potboiler left over from the 1970s about a hot vampire chick.

I'm afraid this is one of THOSE movies, one where ''plot" is another word for ''gratuitous sex scene."
