Disturbing--if less sophisticated than the best SF (science fiction)-horror TV.

Will no doubt be a hit and inspire the obligatory sequels.
  6. Meets the low standards of a mediocre TV movie.
  7. A waste of a decent premise.
  8. An unexpectedly alert teen-scream disaster chiller.

You'll definitely feel cheated -- especially when you keep on finding yourself thinking how Mulder and Scully would have handled it all.

Fails because it takes itself both too seriously and not seriously enough.

    Final destination? Video store bins.
  18. As full of terrible acting as it is devoid of suspense.
  19. Playful and energized enough to keep an audience guessing.
  20. So grim and humorless that the first half almost sinks into silliness.
  21. Even by the crude standards of teenage horror, Final Destination is dramatically flat.

  1. "Final Destination", a movie directed by James Wan, is your average, violent teenage "Saw" movie. Don't expect something like "Scream" or "Halloween".
  2. An excellent creepy and violent movie. Has an interesting storyline and the deaths are very unexpected - they just pop up suddenly. It does lack some empathy. My score: 78/100 Full Review »
