An innocent romantic comedy, with the usual must-find-soulmate plot. Does not have a formula ending in that a suspected attraction does not consummate in a fairy-tale ending. Also, credit for choosing a child over a love interest - actually is touching. I couldn't buy the instant ripened relationship ending - if the two in question had really been soulmates, they would have known it all along. Unfortunately as usual, the plot is advanced by subsidiary characters of disposable stupidity. How's that for giving away the whole story without spoiling it? Enjoyable TV fare, with the added bonus that you don't regret wasting time with it in a theatre. And Bullock looks good even when her makeup is applied with a trowel. Expand

Unhappily, the attractive twosome never give into the pull, just as this coquettish variant of "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" never arrives at its promised destination.

An extremely enjoyable neo-screwball comedy about attractive opposites on the road.
  3. An arcade game disguised as a love story, nearly comatose with cute.
