StephanieSep 2, 200110I think the movie was great, if you're a teen you can definitely relate to most of it. And I disagree with what the piddler said (see above reviews). Ben Foster played his role great; he didn't smile alot because it wasn't needed, and wasn't part of his character's personality. Between Ben Foster and Kursten Dunst, how could this movie be anything but a 10?

ShariK.Oct 9, 200110Wow, I loved this movie so much. It was romantic, funny, smart, and so cute. Ben Foster and Kirsten Dunst had great chemistry; the perfect teen movie...Well, that and "10 Things I Hate About You" ;)

ThePiddlerJun 19, 20013This was a very average to poor show. Billed as a comedy only Martin Short was able to draw anything resembling a laugh. Ben Foster was wooden as the lead male looking as if his face would crack as he attempted to smile. Dunst, however, managed to shine although handicapped by a poor script.

ScottN.Apr 2, 200210The best song was the one about the moonlight on the dream boy. A little on the Short side (all puns intended) but very well done.

100Breaks the formula for teen romances. Martin Short, as the vain and zany drama teacher, does not disappoint.
-
38Comes off more like a series of painful cliches than a comedy or a love story.
-
70Mild, harmless and occasionally affecting, possessing the fizz of diet soda and the sweet snap of slightly stale bubble gum.
