    Rather than the laugh a minute promised by old comedies, Get Smart generates approximately one laugh per hour, and I can't remember either one.

    Remaking Get Smart for the big screen might have sounded like a bad idea, but the movie shows it to have been something else: a REALLY bad idea.

    The action was better than I expected. As far as the humor goes, all the scenarios that Max gets himself into are, for the most part, hilarious. Side characters supply great one-liners,too.… Full Review »

    Great actors, wasted on an aimless script and flimsy plot. What's more, the entire thing lacks any of the charm, wit, and unbridled silliness of the original TV show. In fact, the humor is downright dark. I would've settled for a half-baked throwback than this overcooked clinker.… Full Review »
