You might have high expectations for this film, since Kristen Wiig is the star. But if you think of her as just another actor, you'll end up being pleasantly entertained. She underplays her usual oddball as a New Yorker struggling with her career, boyfriend and life in general. After an unfortunate incident she ends up back at home in NJ with her mother (Annette Bening is a delightful turn). The film tries too hard to be one of those quirky character charmers, but it sometimes succeeds, although predictably. It's not hilarious, but sweetly amusing. Full Review »

" Over ratted , but funny ". So far its over ratted to see kristen wiig trying to kill herself in a comedy movie and plain out dumb and sad in the beginning . she is funny in this movie it's kinda movie to have fun while watching and its funny , its dramatic its not stupid its just plain old out FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. So for cast is good ( but who is to say no one is perfect in any movie). What is to the say if this movie deserves an A it's perfect. An if someone is saying that Wiig's performance is better then ' Bridesmaids' ( nothing is better then Bridesmaid its the queen of comedy....who's to say if it's better or worse). Grade : PERFECT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Full Review »

Not nearly on the same level as Kristen Wiig's previous two successes with Bridesmaids and Friends with Kids; nevertheless, it has its moments--some of them quite special. Full Review »
