Oct 6, 20112"Godzilla", the remake of the (gasp!) Godzilla movie in Japan, is pure trash. This time not even Roland's broad visuals can't save this clunky film. If you think you were going to watch this, forget it. It's just unbelievably terrible.

KurtC.Jul 13, 20080A stubid, lamebrain boring film. Godzilla looks more like a 100-foot reptilian rat for pete's sake. A disgrace to the original Japanese Godzilla.

IanReyP.Sep 29, 20088I just searched Godzilla for it's rating and saw how it's poorly rated. I was 12 yrs old when I watched this and I just enjoyed it. For those ages and below, this is a definitely something to watch for!

KrisFeb 20, 20043Poor visual effects, bad acting and an even worse plot just isn't that fun.

JaredC.Aug 16, 200710The computer generation is top notch, while the story is flowing with its every character and visuals. It is crafted superbly and it turns out nice.

JordanP.Sep 10, 20077A brave attempt at a concept that immediately is unfavorable amongst every critic, just for what it is, a monster movie. Because it is brave, has stunning special effects, jean reno and Hank Azaria, it should certainly be regarded higher than it is. Also, it took me 9 years to find a film like this which was in the same concept, the Host, and thats one of my favourite movies. Period.

GeoffSDec 27, 20053My main problem with this film can be summed up in two words: Matthew Broderick.

GeraldoZNov 21, 20088For 1998, this movie had top-notch graphics. The storyline was a little dull but flowed well. The movie definitely could have been made better but still proved to be strong.

Apr 3, 20116I'm curious why this flick pan by critics. OK cheesy CGI and plot, but this flick still entertaining than Roland Emerich's **** blockbuster 2012

Oct 22, 20114It was an okay movie. Not my favorite but it was at least okay. Not one of Roland Emmerich's best movies but it wasn't terrible. Okay movie that's all I'm saying.

Dec 22, 20112It was ok. The acting was generic at best but the effects were good. It was interesting dont get me wrong but it was just executed poorly. I think if given another shot then they would have knocked it out of the park (or at least made a decent film).

38A big, ugly, ungainly device to give teenagers the impression they are seeing a movie.

10Overlong, neither funny nor scary movie about a big lizard.

50Size really is about all that this tedious, underpopulated beanbag of an epic has going for it.
