    This is essentially a glib soap opera whose main characters are two-dimensional cliches used as clotheslines on which to hang sitcom-level jokes.
  4. A chilly machine-tooled comedy.
  5. Father-daughter relationship lacks impact.
  6. There is not one honest moment, not ONE, in Hanging Up.

    I enjoy a lot this movie, because Meg Ryan, Diane Keaton and Lisa Kudrow. The music and the flashbacks was the best part of movie, Also iI enjoy a lot this movie, because Meg Ryan, Diane Keaton and Lisa Kudrow.     I'm not sure what happened, all the ingredients are their for a great picture, but it falls flat for some reason. Meg Ryan isn't a I'm not sure what happened, all the ingredients are their for a great picture, but it falls flat for some reason. Meg Ryan isn't a strong enough actress for the lead role and it uneasily jumps around from comedy to drama. Nice try though. Expand
