    Offers all the ingredients for a great feast of enticing visions and thematic concerns, only to have them be prepared, plated, and served with the grace of Elmer Fudd.

    Haute Cuisine is a charming, excellently paced, and well written film. Foodies and especially those who admire French cuisine will get a great deal out of this film. But even those not particularly atuned to fine French cooking will enjoy this film about a female chef hired by the French President for his private kitchen, and her adventures with the male cooks and chefs of the main kitchen. But this is handled in a very sophisticated manner, without temper tantrums and underhanded activities between the parties. Full Review »
