  • Summary: A train pulls into the station - it's the end of the line. A Hobo jumps from a freight car, hoping for a fresh start in a new city. Instead, he finds himself trapped in an urban hell. This is a world where criminals rule the streets and Drake, the city's crime boss, reigns supreme alongside his sadistic murderous sons, Slick & Ivan. Amidst the chaos, the Hobo comes across a pawn shop window displaying a second hand lawn mower. He dreams of making the city a beautiful place and starting a new life for himself. But as the brutality continues to rage around him, he notices a shotgun hanging above the lawn mower...     Loaded to the gills with thrill-inducing mayhem, Hobo with a Shotgun feels almost tribal in its commitment to violence.

    Hit the B-movie sweet spot just right, as Jason Eisener mostly does in his gleefully gory Hobo with a Shotgun, and you could find yourself living the dream.

    Two monologues-one in which the Hobo compares himself to a bear, the other a Travis Bickle–like screed delivered to a roomful of increasingly distressed babies-are damn near Shakespearean. It's a shame the performance is contained in a Z-movie patchwork that's a bit too knowingly repugnant.

    Hopefully the last, of the fake trailer spinoffs of 2007's "Grindhouse." It makes last year's "Machete" look like "The King's Speech."

    This movie is sick, it is gross and I loved it. If you expected something different, I understand you might not like this movie at all. But if you like grindhouse movies, you can not miss this one.… Expand

    Really crazy movie with ton of blood and action. This is the best grindhouse movie i seen yet. Another great Grindhouse movie. This movie is so crazy the most craziest grindhouse movie i didn't think that grindhouse could get any crazier until i seen this movie. Great actors and actress and directing. The storyline was on point it wasn't the best story line but it was great. A simple story line turn into very great movie. I love all the blood and killing in this movie. If you could just ignore the hilarious title of the movie and take a chance to watch it you might actually like it, i did. It is bloody from beginning to end. This movie also had a couple sad scene. SOme scene in this movie might make you cry. A action movie with a lot of heart.… Expand

    Over the top gore similar to films like Grindhouse and Machete but this movie is my favorite of the group. It's stupid but a good kind of stupid. Very entertaining imo. Rutger Hauer is amazing as the title character (the hobo). Would definently recommend it.… Expand

    This once existed only as a trailer to Grindhouse but one day some one decided to go on ahead and make the film. I mean, it has a catchy title, in a Snakes on a plane sort of way. And the idea of a sort of comedy action film with Rutger Hauer as a hobo with a shotgun sounded like it might be vaguely entertaining.

    The plot is this: hobo shows up in an ultra violent town. Ultra violent things occur. Blood. Gore. Death.
