Oct 9, 20117With "Home Alone", director Chris Columbus gives a great Christmas entertainment as well as funny, pure performances.
-
Mar 25, 20124All though it's predictable and painful to watch at some times, "Home Alone" still manages to be one of the best Christmas movie to date. About the humor, well, it sucks but it's an old movie, and as time goes on, meanings of fun and jokes change.

Dec 19, 20111I am sorry is this supposed to be funny? Is this supposed to be original? Because I found myself guessing every single part of this movie which made me bored. Sorry Chris Columbus you were great with Harry Potter but not Home Alone. I give this movie 11%.

Sep 5, 201010Home Alone is a great movie. There is a little cussing, however. It's not all that bad after all. There are some pretty funny, weird scenes too. Don't miss it.

Dec 4, 201010I may not celebrate Christmas, but that doesn't stop me from loving this work of art. Definitely one of the best movies of the early 90s. I really hope they re-release this for Blu-Ray.

Apr 9, 20128Home Alone is more mischievous than most other kids movies. Somehow, it manages to have a heart.

67Home Alone is the apex, the pinnacle, the culmination of every bad bit Hughes has ever written or directed. It overflows with primitive, disastrously unfunny sight gags and neo-hateful familial humor.
-
63All plausibility is gone, we sit back, detached, to watch stunt men and special effects guys take over a movie that promised to be the kind of story audiences could identify with.

Kevin has the potential to be the mawkish child or the obnoxious little adult so common on screen, but he is neither. Played with great glee by Macaulay Culkin, he is a totally endearing, up-to-the-minute little boy.
