There's a good chance that Judge's smartly lowbrow Idiocracy will be mistaken for what it's satirizing, but good satire always runs the risk -- of being misunderestimated.
Idiocracy is easily the most potent political film of the year, and the most stirring defense of traditional values since Edmund Burke's Reflections on the Revolution in France.

Definitely a documentary instead of a comedy about the human intelligence already nowdays and how the progress goes on as shown in this movie. The first few minutes of the movie already brought it to the point. The end shows already leadership as it already happened and will be again. Wake up :-)

A true classic. A movie so ahead of its time, the studio had to do everything it could to hide it from the public (so people didn't figure out where they were being led). Humanity has almost caught up to the movie now.
At one point, I was laughing as hard as I could possibly **** then something even funnier happened. So I had this amazing moment of confusion...what is beyond maximum laughter?
I like money. We should hang out. Like in the toilet?

The plot, naturally, is silly and not exactly bound by logic. But it's Judge's gimlet-eyed knack for nightmarish extrapolation that makes Idiocracy a cathartic delight.
Idiocracy, is often stingingly funny -- and an undeserving resident of the summer's-end movie dumping ground.
The delivery in Idiocracy is frequently flat, but it's vision is dead-on.
A satire for its time. What Judge is less sure of here than in his previous, perfectly pitched live-action comedy "Office Space," is how to build a complete movie around his key ideas.
If you crave a lively and funny trek through the farcical possibilities of unchecked dimwit power, Judge is still your guy. Just go rent "Beavis and Butt-Head Do America" instead.
At this point in time this movie has to be considered a documentary and a drama instead of a comedy.

I gave this "film" a 2 only because it was an interesting concept. Beyond Judge saying "Hey, this would be a good concept for a film", his execution was terrible from start to finish. Don't waste your time. If you want a dystopian story about how stupid have become in the future read Super Sad True Love Story.

Fine. Nobody gets hurt, but the point of sharing opinions its that you make it honestly. And if you want to give this aberration of nature a 10, fine, but then you don't have that 10 for your honest opinion on an actual movie that you actually like That seems fair to me. A 10 for this ain't
