Philip K. Dick's stories are always intriguing. And more good news, those snazzy helmets from Starship Troopers were kept in prop storage for projects such as this. The actors are competent and up for the project, but their characters are unconvincing and disposable. The presentation is dark, garbled, erratic, bland and generally unimaginative. The concluding plot twist is cool, but Philip K. Dick's stories are always intriguing. A complete waste of a good premise. Gary Fledler's direction during the action sequences are among thee worst ive seen.

Isn't really a movie, it's only impersonating one.
  2. It's a pleasure to watch a thinking-man's actor like Sinise adapt so easily to this challenge; he even keeps his dignity when forced to participate in the inevitable martial arts-inflected showdown.
  3. The last 15 minutes finally get it together for what passes as a movie experience with a considerable "gotcha!" quotient.
