    Rather than peering into the heart of darkness, North just slaps a coat of Art atop her true-crime subject, and the upshot is akin to an especially pretentious episode of "Law & Order."

    This movie really is a devastating true story. I actually researched the crime it was based on. This film demonstrates what can be done whenThis movie really is a devastating true story. I actually researched the crime it was based on. This film demonstrates what can be done when producers and directors are not confined by Hollywood big budget expectations. It is not a movie full of dribble produced for mass consumption. It is a riveting story old from different points of view. The director uses the different points of view and still manages to create a cohesive film. Definitely worth watching. Expand
