Too much Characters are introduced and ignored in the movie, but nevertheless "Inside Man" is a powerful heist movie full of ready-tension.

Acting -- great, as would be expected. The film doesn't work though: All the twists are revealed or amply clear by about the mid-point, so the thing just sort of stops, but doesn't have an ending. Secondly, Clive Owen steals the papers to bribe Christopher Plummer later, right? But then why leave the ring and send Denzel to investigate Plummer? The result of that will be that Plummer's past crimes will be exposed in which case the papers Clive stole become valueless. Right? Expand

Good but not great. Solid acting from all the contributors, but the film doesn't feel like a thriller or heist film. Was expecting more, but a decent film nonetheless.

Inside Man is a sarcasm-packed thriller that remains interesting because of all the talent involved. It’s a refreshing movie that gets your adrenaline racing and continues the potential Spike Lee reignited with 25th Hour four years ago. While not every twist in the script works, there are enough goods to keep its shortcomings from mattering too heavily. During these dreary cinematic months, Inside Man is prime entertainment and a much-needed bang for your buck. Expand

Esta pelicula me gusto mucho, tuvo drama y suspenso."Inside Man" es un buen thriller, con un buen argumento y buenas personajes; tiene escenas con mucha intriga y nunca se sabe que va a pasar.

  1. This is the mother lode all action/suspense directors search for and Lee, who usually doesn't work in that genre, has hit it.

A flashy cast, clever script and vibrant showcasing of New York City as the ultimate melting pot are strong plusses for Spike Lee's most mainstream studio venture.

I found myself savoring a thriller (as well as a Spike Lee “joint”) that wasn't, for a change, in my face.
