  • Starring: Jan Hooks, Martin Short
  • Summary: This film follows the legacy of Jiminy Glick (Martin Short in a fat suit), first introduced on "The Martin Short Show" who went on to get (non)-critical acclaim for his talk show "Primetime Glick," where Mr. Glick interviewed countless celebrities (which usually ended in verbally -- sometimes physically -- insulting/assaulting them). Now comes "La La Wood" -- Jiminy Glick's home. This is his story (sort of). (Equinoxe Films) Expand

The improvised dialogue has a no-holds-barred quality that can hit or miss. But when it hits, it can be hysterical.

Short does a good job playing Lynch but this whole Lynch thing might have played funnier ten years ago.

Director Vadim Jean is lucky that his low-octane comedy is long on Short.

Jiminy Glick needs definition if he's to work as a character. We have to sense a consistent comic personality, and we don't; Short changes gears and redefines the character whenever he needs a laugh.

This movie is seriously underrated. Anybody at first glance will think it be a corny movie but Marin Short pulls out some gems. Martin Short is hilarious. Expand

The TV show is horrible, and I'm pretty sure it's been cancelled, it's barely on in reruns on Comedy Central. Martin Short has only had one funny moment in career, ever since then he's just been annoying the crap out of people. So how was this movie financed? No idea. But I do know that it won't even make back the money it cost to make this idiotic film. Expand
