Look, I am not going to sit here and tell you this is a good movie. It's not. Certain scenes are hilarious, but the movie is too thin. But Martin Short is one of the funniest men alive. He's certainly one of the best sketch comedians who ever existed, which is why he comes up short in movies where he stars. The TV show is horrible, and I'm pretty sure it's been cancelled, it's barely on in reruns on Comedy Central. Martin Short has only had one funny moment in career, ever since then he's just been annoying the crap out of people. So how was this movie financed? No idea. But I do know that it won't even make back the money it cost to make this idiotic film.

Too often depends on salty, adolescent one-liners that provide shock value guffaws but grow cumulatively wearisome.

A film this slipshod needs much more star-power than it's able to muster.

Give 'em a handicap for making a 20-minute man go 90--still, it's not enough.
