    A witty reminder that campaigns are an endless string of foolish events and photo ops that are wildly detached from the hard issues a president has to deal with.

    Pelosi should be roughed up some, though, for what little she does with her access to the then-president-to-be and the political circus surrounding him.

    This is a documentary about the meaningless of the political process, and one woman's slow realization of that during the 2000 primaries. To take Pelosi to task for not using the opportunity to grill Bush is obtuse; the documentary is about her journey to an understanding of American politics, not about her noble struggle in the face of it. It's clearly an amateur doc, but not a bad film for that reason.… Expand
