Some of Kevin Hart's fans may be disappointed that Laugh at My Pain, a film version of his recent stand-up tour, offers less than an hour of Mr. Hart onstage. But a couple of adornments - one before the concert footage, one after - flesh out this funny, profanity-heavy movie nicely.

If Laugh at My Pain makes people take a second look at this perpetual third banana on the big screen, so much the better.

I saw and enjoyed his stand up performances Seriously Funny and I'm a Grown Little Man, and they made him my favorite stand up comedian. I also really enjoyed this movie and other fans of him will to. It's got him doing stand up which is as always hilarious, and also includes a funny skit. But the main reason this movie was made is so that you can learn a little bit more about the man behind the jokes, and how he uses his stand up comedy as a means of "self therapy" as Larry King puts it. Also it's made to make you laugh. So obviously if your a Kevin Hart fan you'll love it, it'll make you laugh and you get to learn more about a fantastic comedian. Full Review »
