This is a full-bore, PG-rated, sweet rom-com. It sticks to the track, makes all the scheduled stops and bears us triumphantly to the station. And it is populated by colorful characters, but then, when was the last time you saw a boring Irishman in a movie?

Well in 'these difficult times' this is the kind of film you need to watch. No violence, bad language or gratuitous sex scenes meant to sell movies to men and boys. This is a sweet, feel good movie with beautiful Ireland as the backdrop. Oh and a really good musical score to boot. Dare to watch this and say you don't feel better.

Amy Adams is great as the hilarious 'con artist' Anna! She really made the movie lively and fun. Slightly clichéd here and there, but with a striking message and the gorgeous backdrop of Ireland. A very well-done romantic comedy!

This movie's premise has holes large enough to push an Irish pub through, but there are three elements that make it worthwhile: 1) Matthew Goode never overplays the part he's been dealt 2) The cliffs and countryside of Ireland make for magnificent viewing, and 3) Amy Adams' spirit has enough fizz to energize this tired chick flick and render it quite enjoyable.

The film has some nice travelogue moments in Ireland, but is otherwise a cookie cutter romantic comedy that wastes its terrific cast on stereotypes and slapstick shenanigans.

Just to stay off the red zone, ill give this movie a **** reason? The amazing view Irland has to **** to the movie, more of the same, equal to all out there, predictable as it came out

Think of the dumbest Jennifer Aniston "romantic comedy" you've seen. This one is dumber. What a waste of the lovely Amy Adams -- with unfunny slapstick, a senseless plot and no chemistry at all between the leads. I wasn't expecting much, but thought that a little Irish scenery might at least make it somewhat enjoyable. I was wrong.
