Not a very good movie. It doesn't really go any where, and when it ends you fell like you wasted an hour and a half of your life. Pretty slow and boring, not very funny or romantic it's really just a bland movie. There were a few laughs but very far apart. There wasn't any bad acting but nothing special. That strong presence in the center almost makes Lola Versus watchable even as it starts to get formulaic, preachy and tiresome.

Like the character at its center, Wein's film suffers from a certain sense of inertia, which is where Gerwig comes in.
