Apr 1, 20124Although it tries to be good, Mirror Mirror just ends up being what you would expect from a movie adaption of Snow White.

Apr 1, 20126The art direction and costume design are wonderful. The story is sufficient to hold up the aesthetic. Julia Roberts is fun and inoffensive as the queen. The jokes are mostly ho-hum but the pace keeps moving. It was a nice date movie - light, easy, sweet, pretty to look at.

Apr 10, 20128My pre-teen daughter and I watched it and enjoyed it. It wasn't spectacular but I didn't find any major fault with it. I laughed out loud several times.

Mar 30, 20128I am so surprised by the negative reviews, as I saw this with 12 fifth graders and their families and we all loved it! The casting was great, the dwarves were a riot, and the inside jokes were fantastic. Give it a try!

Jul 22, 20125Mirror Mirror is pretty enough and funny enough with enough good performances to please. Also this may not be Tarsem's best film because of its sort of cliche run of the story. I give this movie 52%.

Apr 2, 20128I like Tarsem, but I went into this film expecting a cringeworthy kids film. I was pleasantly surprised by the all ages humor, twists on the original story, and awesome costume design.

Jul 8, 20124With a poor performance from Julia Roberts and Lily Collins acting like a 3 years old girl ,this movie looks like an bollywood production that was made in two weeks

Jun 21, 20121I'm giving it a 1 only because it made me smile twice. Julia Roberts could have been much more convincing and the overall acting and the story were lame. I've hardly ever seen a comedy as boding as this one.

Mar 30, 20126When a story as legendary as Snow White comes to life (twice in 2012), the stakes are pretty high to make it entertaining yet keep that fairy tale feel children love so much, that air of wonder, with the quiet rustle of pages for soundtrack. One would not expect so much snow from the Indian director Tartsem Singh, or maybe itâ

Jun 7, 20126Mirror Mirror is undeniably beautiful, a grand spectacle. Let's forget about the story, it's for children tale before a sleep after all. With impressive cast and Bollywood dance sequence, I couldn't deny I like it.

Mar 16, 20137Probably about as mainstream as Tarsem gets, this adaptation plays the fairytale setting pretty straight, with excellent art direction and unique visual style (to be expected). Mirror Mirror has what Snow White and the Huntsman doesn't; craft, imagination and levity.
-
Aug 10, 20124this is not a good movie, because the history is not the real thruth and also when i watch i asked to myself: Who is the Hustman?, but there is something good in this film, is the actors they are very good

Apr 3, 201210I think critics are misunderstanding the point of this movie. It's a pure visual treat and I found some of the innuendos to be clever and funny :-). It's not a deep movie plot wise, and it doesn't need to be. It's simply a rendering of a fairytale that makes you smile from start to finish.

Jun 15, 201210In my opinion this movie was a little underestimated. I found it a really funny comedy with some ingenious found here and there. Besides being a comedy also seemed to be a parody of Snow White. Perhaps the only flaw is that in two or three times it lingers a bit but for the rest is hilarious.

Apr 7, 20122A lot of people talking about this movie were not enthused. I know some who said they preferred to wait for he next Snow White flick â

Mar 30, 20127Two snow whites this year, is a great considence, and the first is Mirror Mirror, with Collins and Roberts, and I need say, the film can not be the better of the comedy films, but is really funny, I love this version of Snow White.

Apr 8, 20126Surprisingly, not terrible. It isn't a great movie, but you won't regret seeing it. Julia Roberts' evil queen is suitably evil and sells the role very well. It was a worthwhile addition to the Snow White canon, and the twist at the end will keep you interested. A nice movie for family rental night.

Apr 6, 20120Not sure why this film starts off trying to be clever and unconventional. By the end, it manages to completely embalm itself in trite, insulting nonsense and cliche. Better to suffer a bout of constipation than sit through this stinker.
-
Apr 6, 20126I'm not sure if this is a Disney movie, but it defiantly has that taste to it. My 8 and 10 year olds really loved it, but the humor really was directed for kids, as was much of the movie. Great for kids...
-
May 2, 201210A nice movie for kids.It makes you wanna re watch it but it makes you go back to sleeping beauty but its different also nice and cool detailing nothing violent in the movie just fun and funny creative movie.Just like a normal movie to watch or read as bed time story.

Sep 6, 20126OK. Someone compared it to the "Princess Bride" I sort of get that: a bit of humor, a bit of parody-satire, some romance--but here it is not nearly as seamless, or likable as the Princess Bride.--it feels disjointed.

Dec 5, 20124Okay, but very annoying and strange. Visually stunning but a weak script and uneven story really held this one back. Add to that an annoying performance from Julia Roberts, all Mirror Mirror provides is an attractive mess.

Mar 11, 20131This is one of the worst films of 2012. All the performance's here are forced. I knew this film would be a cheese fest, but I was hoping for a light hearted and fun movie. Instead we get a boring, unfunny, waste of everyone's time.
-
40This is fussy filmmaking, overly made-up (the costume mandate seems to include the buzzwords "coffee filters," "croquembouche," and "Day-Glo paint") and bereft of wit.
-
40To borrow a line Roberts spits at Collins, there's something about Mirror that's incredibly irritating. Fingers crossed Huntsman has more edge.
-
40It's evasive and feeble; Julia Roberts is not a properly funny or satisfying villain, and yet neither is she the interestingly flawed, even sympathetic figure she might have been if the film had kept the all-important question she asks the mirror.
