JayHNov 8, 20085I tried watching this movie on three occasions, and could not get into it at all. I found it painfully slow moving. I did finish it but was not impressed. Very well acted though.

Sure there are maybe a few holes in the story but it has many clever inventions (the treehouse, hallam's skill at climbing buildings and picking locks) and the actors keep us emotionally connected. Probably my favorite thing is the evocation of the gloomy, gritty glamor of Scotland, which I wish were in more films!
