A great big beautiful valentine of a movie, an intoxicating romantic comedy set beneath the biggest, brightest Christmas moon you ever saw. It's a monster moon, a Moby Dick of a moon, whose radiance fills the winter sky and every cranny of this joyous love story.
In its warmth and in its enchantment, as well as in its laughs, this is the best comedy in a long time.

Such an amazing masterpiece from the 80s! A comedic romance film
Cher's acting is pretty spectacular.

total "comfort" film. enjoyable for beginning to end, all while enjoying each character. Cinematography, soundtrack and storyline are exceptional. And exceptionally fun.

A gem, in that there’s really no other movie like it. A mixture of camp, parody, and full-throated sincerity, Moonstruck ultimately coalesces into a romantic comedy that’s tonally aberrant yet emotionally coherent.
Simply stated, it is difficult not to be swept up by this charming picture.

It wasn't good, it was spectacular, wonderful. You'll love the performances, but Cher's, hers was the best. The music is beautiful, and you'll laugh every moment.

Moonstruck is a light-hearted, feel good romantic comedy that has aged surprisingly well. The film, written by the great John Patrick Shanley, does a wonderful job of portraying an Italian family living in New York City in the 1980s. The ensemble cast lead brilliantly by Cher incredibly fills out all of the nuances of the script. The film is wonderfully shot, and the setting never strays from its romantic feel. All in all, this is a great movie!

Unfunny, unromantic, unrealistic, and all around annoying, Moonstruck is a complete and utter failure in my book. Cher is annoying in the lead role, Danny Aiello is alright but his character is literally an idiot, leaving Nicolas Cage as the only good part of the film (though his character is quick to get attached, eh?). The film feels as if it was made by some teenager romanticizing about love, who has no idea what love really is. I would know because I am not too far removed from those days myself. Completely lacking any substance, believable romance, and jokes, Moonstruck falls flat from the very beginning and the longer it goes on, the more and more you get annoyed by its very presence. A shame really because Cage is great here, so he wasted a good performance on a terrible film, which I guess is pretty characteristic of him.

Eclair de lune est une toute petite comédie romantique à l'eau de rose (bien fanée) et un tout petit film minable et facile : on a peine à croire que c'est l'expérimenté Norman Jewison qui s'y est collé... il doit y avoir une erreur, une putain d'erreur.
C'est neuneu et convenu mais encore plus con que venu et en tout cas fort mal venu avec par exemple Cher que nous ne chérissons certainement pas mais que nous abhorrons de toutes nos forces : déjà à cette époque, elle a la peau tendue comme un tambour. Et de toute façon, il s'agit d'une insupportable grognasse.
Le débutant Nicolas Cage est venu se ridiculiser dans le rôle du bellâtre de service pour la chère rombière et le scénario pondu par quelqu'un qui n'avait visiblement plus toute sa tête veut nous faire croire qu'il est le "frère" de Danny Aiello et qu'en plus, Nicolas est boulanger !
De toute façon, c'est tellement mou du bulbe qu'on ne tient pas juqu'à la fin à moins d'avoir des tendances fortement masochistes : cet Eclair de mes burnes, il faut tirer la chasse par dessus et puis c'est tout.
