    I am giving this one star for the fact that I didn't actually pay to see the first twelve minutes of it (after which I decided scrubbing the bathrooms was truly preferable to enduring the remaining 78 minutes).

    Dieckmann nails the look of a certain niche of urban neo-middle-class living, but the film's hyper-earnest tone and reliance on "day-from-hell" New York clichés overwhelm those details.
