Please, spare us your phony revulsion. What were you people expecting? Why did you venture to watch a film like this in the first place?!! For what this film is and in the context of Horror (not - citizen kane, Jay) it stands out and leaves a lasting impression. Way too many films don't.

An utter waste of time! The recent BBFC ban made me track this one down. I am sure child murder should spark some kind of audience reaction other than a yawn. Anyone can write some scenes that are meant to shock (all reasonable people have some kind of moral code) but it takes a real film maker (stand up Wes Craven, George Romero, John McNaughton, John Carpenter etc...) to make that audience gasp. MSP is a complete and utter waste of time. Avoid at all costs!!! Expand

The best genre film in years! Truly a test of wills. The grim and horiffic nature of this film will haunt you. Without a doubt the most disturbing film since William Lustig's "Maniac"... except "Murder-Set-Pieces" goes even futhur with rape, torture and child murder. A must see.

Thought it was an amazing cautionary tale for 21st century society. And as the saying goes, "if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen."

It's about time someone had the balls to step up and create a realistic horror film with no concerns for the negativity sure to follow from narrow minded do-gooders. Here's to you Nick on a job well done! This film shows the depravity that exists in the world that most choose to ignore and pretend doesn't exist. And Nick also blows right through the taboo of not harming little children. Even little babies aren't protected in this one! This one will prove to be too much for the general public. Most people are weak minded and need others to help them make decisions and to explain why things are the way they are in the world. (Sounds like organized religion doesn't it?) But for the avid horror fan and those that recognize this as a very realistic masterpiece of cinema, the world of horror movies being exciting is back! The film quality is superb and the background music and soundtrack are dead on! I look very forward to any and all works that Nick associates himself with in the future. Without doubt this is the best and most realistic horror film ever produced! Expand

It is laughable that the promoters have to stoop to the level of posting fake reviews on websites like this."elaine eddie charles steve harvey fred" you could have at least invented a person with piss poor grammar and punctuation (and maybe more than an initial for a last name) to make this joke of viral marketing more believable. Awful movie made by a talentless director. The lead performance by Sven Garrett is so bad it's laughable. There is hardly any gore in the film unless you count blood splattered on walls as "gore". Above all, the movie is boring . This may be one of the worst movie ever made. This film has no plot, no character development, nothing at all traditionally associated with a cinematic production. In the end, however, the film reveals the filmaker's sub-conscious anti-societal tendencies toward misogyny, pedophilia, racism, and ultimately and pathetically, Aryan supremacy. The movie gives good reason for a narrow contruction of the First Amendment: it should never have been allowed to have been viewed by the public (i.e., it is as anti-societal as child pornography). Good film, but slightly dissapointed that the directors cut wasn't that much different to the original version, just some extra New York scenes at the beginning.I was expecting more gore! Still a vicious film though, and well made.

This is an incredible horror film. The most disturbing, graphic portrayal of serial murder of all time. This makes "Henry:Portrait osf a Serial Killer look like "Shrek 2". An instant cult classic and in the top 5 best horror film ever made. A masterpiece.

"M-S-P" is simply the BEST slasher film ever made. It goes beyond "Maniac" and "Last House on the Left", and the directing, acting, F/X and cinematography are astonishing! Easily the most disturbing film I've ever seen...I LOVED IT. This movie should have gotten the accolades and positive notices that went to that piece of crap "Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer". Now talk about a movie pieced together with no story, plot or narrative. The murder/torture scenes notwithstanding, It was a very realistic portrayal of an all too real world. Wake up folks! It really doesn't deserve a 10 out of 10 but it only has a rating of 3.9? Jesus... It's a well shot film with lots of hot women being murdered and raped and also has great music in it. What more could you ask for?

Disgusting and vile. This exploitation like film is just a waste of cinema. A big waste. It's just not easy to watch, not the scenes, but the fact that it's more than 100 minutes of random killing and boring dialogue.
