  1. Troubling and powerful film, lingering on screen well into the final credits and in the minds of its audience long after the house lights have come on.
  2. Denis and Testud, in a wondrous collaboration of a gifted director and equally gifted actress, succeed in making Christine a tragic figure.

A true rarity, Murderous Maids is an intelligent, moral shocker.
  4. The film proves unrelentingly grim -- and equally engrossing.
  5. Denis' slow, deliberate style shuns typical suspense techniques, relying instead on something far more effective: a stunning performance by Testud.
  6. The old saying, "It's hard to find good help nowadays" takes on a new meaning in Murderous Maids.
  7. Never inspires more than an interested detachment.

I thought the fiilm was wonderful! The characters were well developed. The story line was easy to follow I love the setting in which the film I thought the fiilm was wonderful! The characters were well developed. The story line was easy to follow I love the setting in which the film was developed. Enjoyed the soft muted colors that were used throughout the film since I do not speak French. I found the sex scenes to be hot and revolting at the same time because are sisters. Once I got over that hurdle the murders that I had to witness were earth shattering! Excellent adult film! I love films that drives me to the brink of allow me to drop and then pull me back up again only to drop me again! Expand
