On the bright side, Ivan Reitman's disappointing new comedy isn't just cheap and formulaic, but so forgettable few people will even remember she (Portman) was in it.

No Strings Attached is so palpably calculated that you know if the camera had pulled back a foot from the bed in which Portman and Kutcher were pretending to have sex, you'd have seen their agents standing by beaming: proud parents, proud pimps.

The"No Strings Attached" is a romantic comedy about Emma (Natalie Portman) who decides to use her friend, Adam (Ashton Kutcher) for only sex. The film, to me, was so predictable and also, not funny. You could tell from the start that Emma was going to just want sex and that Adam would go along with it, until, of course, he wants a relationship. I wonder what's going to happen? This film is boring and predictable, and just badly written. Natalie Portman's latest film does impress and it's a shame since she was in the very good movie, "Black Swan" recently. Thank god it was rated R, because PG-13 would have made this a below average to bad film. Overall i would watch it again for Portman who played her character very well and for Kutcher who like always delivers his charm in a way no other can. Full Review »
