It's a delicate picture with a great cast. Watching it was worth for me. It made me feel happy and think about simple things in a different way.

It's not a very good movie. In fact, it's pretty close to being Torque bad, but it isn't, so I'll give it props for that. Only that, however.

Highly under-rated. A fantastic gem. Scenery of a snow filled New York Christmas is just the perfect back drop for this beautiful story that will make you laugh and cry. Paul Walker breaks away from his usual roles and makes for a great performance in this romantic drama. Includes an excellent supporting cast including Robin Williams and Susan Sarandon. you don't have to believe in Christmas to "Believe" in this movie. I liked that it took my cynisism and never denied it, but left me with a hopeful feeling in spite of all the Christmas crapp.

Goes down like sour eggnog on Christmas Eve.

There's a point at which the plot crosses an invisible line, becoming so preposterous that it's no longer moving and is just plain weird.
  3. A plodding, contrived Christmas tale that wastes the talents of his well-known cast.
