    I loved the beging of the film when nola (Emmy) was just coming to N.Y. and how she was was trying to make her way. the relationship with ben started off really cute as well. but when they brought Margret (mary) into it the film took a turn for the worst.

    Screwball elements feel overly theatrical -- one can almost see the actors waiting calmly in the wings for their breathless entrances.
